SEASONAL CHALLENGES RULES & DETAILS

These challenges are set up to enhance your bond between you and your furry family member. 

Challenges run three months at a time. Logs will be sent to participants after purchase through email. Participants must log their activities with their dog throughout the months. Once completed, the log needs to be returned to

A beautiful unique themed and colorful Rosette ribbon for you AND a surprise gift for your dog!

IMPORTANT: We are only accepting registration from participants in the continental US. This may change as we grow!

Each seasonal challenge requires 30 activity logs.

Logs MUST BE RETURNED before the 15th of the month following the close of the challenge. You may turn them in before the challenge is over! 

What Counts as an activity?

There are so many things that can count as an activity to log for your monthly challenge. We have listed a few here!

Walking - Jogging - Beach Day - Mountain Hike - Cross Country Adventure - Swimming - Grooming - Cattle Work - Sheep Herding - Trail Adventure with Horses - Fetch - Puppy Training 

- House Breaking - Command Training-

- Military Canine Work - Police and First Responder Work -

- Medical Care for Rehabbing Dogs - Therapeutic Work - Disability Service Work - Agility for Show Training or for Recreation 

- All Canine Shows -

-Going to the Dog Park - Having a Puppy Play Date - Dog Sledding -

- Hunting - Dog Modeling or Acting for Publications or TV/Movie - 

There are so many possibilities! If you have questions about what counts as an activity, please reach out!

What does NOT count as an activity?

Cleaning up after your dog

Feeding your dog

Sitting on the couch with your dog

Taking cute pictures of your dog for social media

Injured/Rehabbing Dog OR Human

If rehabbing your dog

You may count thigs such as:

Rehab care/Medical care

Grooming

If you are injured or cannot work with your dog due to medical reasons

You may include things such as:

Canine research training/medical

If your disability allows - feeding & grooming

FAQ:

Do I have to have my own dog?

NO! You can count activities with your friend's dog, neighbor's dog, family's dog etc. All with the permission of the dog's owner.

What if I have multiple dogs?

Awesome! You can sign them all up under one registration and collect one ribbon/gift OR you can sign them up individually to receive individual ribbons/gifts

What if I don't complete the challenge?

Unfortunately, without a returned log your prizes will not be sent.

If you need additional time to complete the log, please reach out!

Can my kids do this?

Absolutely! The registration just needs to be paid for by an adult. You are welcome to sign your kids up under their name so they receive their own award pack in the mail!

Can I do multiple activities in one day?

Yes, record up to 2 activities in one day. So if you want to do a walk in the morning & fetch in the evening or any combination of the activities, that is fine!

What is included with the $36?

Your registration, the log to fill out your activities, a unique rosette ribbon different for each challenge & a gift or two for your dog!

Refund Policy:

There are no refunds. Please make sure that you, your dog & your parents or guardians are on board with these challenges before signing up!

GO THE DISTANCE CHALLENGES

Are you and your pup ready to Go The Distance?

Walk, Run or Jog the distance of various places and earn unique medals!

How it works:

Pick your challenge from the list on the distance challenge page

Log your distances

Submit your log

Receive your medal!

The distances you see reflect the longest distance of that destination in any direction (south to north or west to east)

You may start these at any time and take your time with them. Up to 6 months.

A helpful way to track your distance is to use a distance tracker app on your phone. You DO NOT need to submit your app tracker logs but you can if you'd like. Just submit the provided log.

You may do these challenges with multiple dogs. You can sign them up together under one OR sign them up separate to receive individual medals. 

You may NOT sign one dog up for multiple medals and use the same miles for different medals.

You may use these miles for activity logging for the monthly TWC challenges.

Mini Scavenger Hunts

Choose from the 10 hunts

Complete all 10 required items from the hunt list

The Ultimate Dog Scavenger Hunt

You will receive a list of 30 places and items you must find and photograph your dog with

ULTIMATE ONLY - Complete a MINIMUM of 25 and a MAXIMUM of 30

You have 6 months from sign up to complete

To Complete:

Find the item from the scavenger hunt list

Photograph your dog with that item

Save all images

Once completed, upload your images to the online form

*** It is recommended to create a special Album in your phone's gallery titled "Scavenger Hunt" so all your images are in one place.

Once completed, you will receive a beautiful ribbon to commemorate your achievements.
